Assuming 13% loss that puts it around 615. Not too shabby really...

That'd be spot on where I'd put it. 546 + 10 / 0.88 = 631

That would be the flywheels hp rating. Just like every other manufacturer uses.

Remember, if you are figuring for 13%, figure 13% for the flywheel hp, not the rwhp. A 13% gain from the 546 at the rear wheels gives you about 617hp, which is only a 11.5% loss from the flywheel.

The ACR is good in my book. Its also a lot faster than the SRT-10. But it only tops 176. : /

I thought so until I saw the same drabble on other boards (link posted previously). I dont think anyone would go to those lengths to authenticate an AE, but then again, nothing really surprises me in this community...

Those are good numbers. When I dynoed my ACR, I got 524 RWHP, but it was done on a very conservative dyno. I was told it would have made 40-50 more on any other dyno. This was at DC.

I've been looking to do a fun run with an 08 viper vs my 01. That would make for a great vid.

A little late here..
But thats true about DC's dyno. Even Jonathon, aka Redsled dynoed his race viper GTS on another dyno. And it read 35 more RWHP.. Not to mention Dan Cragin telling me this beforehand..

Thank you for verifying this. There have been a few doubters. :D

So, then my GTS has at least 35 more rear wheel Hp than what DC showed on their dyno Sheet? I wonder if this would be a consistent lack of HP showing or would it be a percentage? So if 500 should read as 535, then add 7 HP per hundred?,
Wow, this is the cheapest HP I've ever gotten!

Yes, you should have more power than their dyno showed. It should be a percentage, as you mentioned, around 7%. This is verifiable by calling DC and asking them if anyone is in doubt.

Yeah, if your Viper dynoed 830 at Dan's shop. You will see an increase on someone else's dyno.. :yep:

Todd down south figured he could get my RWHP up to 1100 with my mods with a pulley and some tuning, Dan tunes for safety

Im sure he probably could. But I prefer to stick with Dan's philosophy. Besides my cars making 581rwhp natural, stock bottem end. Thanks to him..:D

It'd be great to get those guys onboard here to add their expertise now and then. I know Chris is registered here. He goes by "ViperForums.net Dodge Viper Forum - View Profile: vprtech@@AMEPARAM@@View Profile: vprtech</title>@@AMEPARAM@@vprtech" but its been some time since he's been on.
