I have been reading this site on and off for a few years. They have tons of beer reviews and some pretty decent recipes. Not a bad site. Most of you guys will like this.

So, have you tried your hand at making beer? Seems like it would be fun.

Never tried myself... My father does it occasionally. The recipes on this site are actually for food though if anyone is wondering...

Brewing; easy to do and it can be a welcome change to the store bought shit. Can be labor intensive bottling, but the results are worth it.
Note: The more clean you keep the process, the better the end results. There are cheap kits to get started with, but if you get hooked, you can make beers better than any Sam Addams version out there.
The fun is what to pair you meals with when you serve.
What would go well with a sweet bourbon black Angus steak tip? Or with a pecan encrusted tapia, Yukon Gold potato grilled in Bacon fat, and served with a sour cream and habanaro dipping sauce, and fresh steamed green beans?

Personally, with a meal like that I would want something clear and crisp, but not necissarily light. Maybe a SA Cherry Wheat. I guess its all personal preference, though, regardless of what is considered standard.
Best beer with pizza, hands down, is Abita Turbo Dog...

For the Tapia I'd either do Viognier white wine, or a Belgian Chimay Blue ale.
