Guess what I did... Thats right, I lost my key for my gas cap on my truck. I was headed home early today on EMPTY and had to stop for fuel. I couldnt find the key in the glove box so I searched high and low, under the seats, everywhere... No key. I wasnt about to pay $200 to a locksmith, much less wait an hour for one to show up.

Pissed off, I took out the shitty tire tool and popped the top right off the gas cap, then unscrewed the white threaded piece with my fucking hand...

So much for a $50 anti-theft/ anti-vandalism accessory... I am going right now to buy a new one as I have long since misplaced the original...

The club is unbeatable without a torch and some time... The steering wheel it is attached too, however... Bolt cutters and 10 seconds and the Club goes out the window :D

Same goes with the pad locks on the old lift up garage doors. $20 masterlock and $5 pot metal latch.

Pair of vise-grips and 20 seconds bending the eye-loop bavk and for and the lock was useless.

Locks only keep the casual thief at bay. Anyone serious will get in.

Though in my paranoia I have wire my starter solenoids to only activate if you hold a window switch in the up position. Keeps your drunk friends from fucking around too lol!

The gas cap (http://www.carpartswholesale.com/cpw/gas_cap.html) is a vital part of your car. It prevents your fuel supply from evaporating. That's can save you a lot of money on gasoline.
