View Full Version : Flashed + tuned the EVOX on the dynapack

The only other mod I have. Is a drop in filter. This filter alone+ baseline run, added 6hp.. But with the flash+tune,I netted an overall of 70 hp. Not to shabby, feels great to..:thumbs:

No, stock they only make 290 hps. The big reason is, that the factory sets them up running pig rich..

they're a great car with a good tune. Especially on twisty class 2 roads - nothing exotic will hang with them in their element. They are an uninspiring car in some ways, but incredible fun. From point to point on a windy road - likely the easiest car to drive fast and safe in, also humiliates much more expensive machines

Is it true that the previous gen Evos were actually faster and better handling than the X?
I've never even driven one, but from what I've read about them, the heavier X is slower and less inspiring to drive than the older Evos. I was impressed as hell when one came out and gave both of my buddies in their 10-second GN's fits on the street one night.

No, Edmunds did a back to back test. And the X was quicker around the road course compared to the IX.. Heres a great review EVOX vs STI on Top Gear..
