View Full Version : This motocross bike whoops ass!!

I bought this son of a bitch last week. If any of you younger punks ride motocross, don't believe the magazine hype. The bike is a huge jump forward in handling from previous CRF450's and a shitload better than anything else out there. It feels 15 pounds lighter than any other 450, has precise steering like I have never felt before (even better than the infamous '93 CR250) and is guaranteed to get you laid within 2 days (ok, maybe 2 weeks for some of you nerds).

You do anything to it yet?

I got a 08' Honda 700XX last week that I took in on trade. This ATV is bad ass. I've got a 400KFX now but this ride is a beast. I'm not into dirt bike's, my wife has a KX that she love's but as far as me on anything with 2 wheels, I'm out!! :nope:

In only rode it one day so far, Jason but was absolutely amazed by the bike. I also have the previous generation CRF450 (2007) but this new one blows it out of the water. Honda shrunk the bike to feel like a 250 2 stroke but with big bore fuel injected power. WOW!!! It's like having a Viper that whips around like a Lotus.

My brother law races KTM's and love's them but his dad just got a new Honda which maybe the one like you got. :thumbs:

I'm not a huge fan of the KTM's!!

They have excellent enduros and their motocross bikes are getting better but they have unrefined aspects about them and they can't quite get it together. I met Grant Langston, who was their top rider in the world, at a practice track in Orlando a few years ago and he told me that the KTM engineers are stubborn and unwilling to accept advice for change. Their rear shock system doesn't even have a linkage and it blows compared to the jap bikes.

Honda's new CR450 has a huge advantage over the competition this year and they are all going to have to play "catch up" in the coming years.
