Stock Market challenge... (CALLOUT)

Anyone up for a good old fashioned Stock Market game? Its very similar to the ones you might have played in high school or college...

Basicly they start you with an imaginary $100,000 and you play that "money" based on actual stocks and trends. It updates constantly with the real market.

The challenge is from now until December 31st so its obviously a challenge on playing the short term market. The catch is that if you actually come out on top of everyone playing (not just from this site) you can win an actual $100 cash prize.

I should mention that its a little more of a challenge also because there is no way to effectively day trade...

NOTE: To prevent day trading on our site, we now require that after you buy a stock you must wait at least 2 hours to sell it. There is nothing wrong with day trading in the real world, but the problem is that because WallStreetpros.com is not really setup to exactly match how the real stock exchanges work (like with bid/ask prices, reatime stock quotes, etc.), it is much easier for a day trader to make money on WallStreetPros.com than on a real exchange, and this is not fair to the other players.

One of my stocks is down a shit load, but I just made some good profit on another. Went up $4 a share this morning... :nana:

I dont understand how some people in the rankings page have so much. I think they must cheat somehow... Theres no way that the leader on Friday went from $102,000 to $108,377,961 this morning...

Either way, even if none of us make the leaderboard, we can still all compete based on screen shots I suppose.

Anyone seen No Man? I figured with his paid vacation at the Alley he might have shown up by now... :lol:

Give it 15 mins or so... Sometimes longer. They delay all transactions to prevent day trading, which is a huge blow to a non frugal short term investor...
