Rep climbs hella fast here!!! I started at 9 here and I'm already at 16 as of today... Krazy's is substantially higher than the 23 he started with too...
The only difference in the rep here compared to the Alley is that it climbs based on the actual way that vbulletin designed it. Every time you get repped by someone, you get the full value of their rep power towards your rep points, even if that person has repped you before... Just like on other boards that use the rep system.
Dont be surprised to see rep levels in the 100s eventually :nana:
Obviously the more you post the more likely your rep power is to climb... :yep:

I had to slow it down just a little... The rep was getting out of hand!
No worries though, it still climbs faster than other places... Just a little more challenging to gain rep power points now than it has been... This is in the sites best interest so as not to have a group of elitists. New user hazing is all good and all in fun and almost encouraged, but the rep settings were allowing for some outrageous climbs in power gained per day...
SEE FAQ's for changes...
This site is a democracy: If you guys like it the way it was, set up a voting poll and we will change it back...

Yeah, fuck that mess... Leave it the way it is I guess. People still have the same oppurtunity to gain reputation, and almost at a faster pace with the rep levels the way they are by vBulletin default.
A new user, without any transferred rep from anywhere else, can still climb rather rapidly with the approval reps of senior members, even if they join a year or two from now....
It also allows for people to be put deep into the neg, with only a few clicks!!!
