Im assuming all of you got yours this last year, but being that there are $266million in unclaimed checks still out there, I figured I would post this up just incase. Better hop onboard since this is the last you will ever get back from the gov't unless of course you dont work and live in a trailer with 12 children...

According to US tax officials, 383,000 tax refunds and economic stimulus checks were returned to the IRS this year beacuse they were mailed to the wrong address. Overall, $266 MILLION worth of checks have been returned to the IRS, which is an average of about $700 per check.

Do you need to claim your money? If you don't claim your sitmulus check by November 28th, you won't get it at all!

Call the IRS at 866-234-2942, or you can track your rebate check online HERE (http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=181665,00.html).

Why did we become a socialist country? We should not be paying off the population to return it to health. Free market will bring it back in a more stable way than any check from the government.

All this does is empower those who live on welfare now to keep asking for more instead of working for it.

Agreed... But its the last "giveback" you'll get before the end of free enterprise. I looked at it as something I got back so that someone else wont get it...

The liberals are idiots if they think raising taxes on businesses is going to impove anything. All that relults in is higher prices on products which in turn causes less product purchases, and overall less revenue for everyone.

It goes by adjusted gross income of up to $150,000 I believe, which made alot of people eligible... Even if you are right on the border of that you can still get a couple hundred bucks.. :yep:

A simple review of the Carter Administration will prove that the use of taxes on business result in higher costs to end user. This is simple economics.

Producers of goods and services pass costs onto the consumer, providing the consumer will be willing to pay for it. If there is a need, it will not matter what the government does;(look at the war on Drugs).
