I wonder how many Vipers and other rides are going to end up totaled/ salvaged from being left behind? Obviously priority is getting yourself and family out, but I guarantee Id be pulling a car trailer too...

Living in and around Nawlins most of my life, we got used to dealing with the hurricanes. Most we rode out. A few we had hurricane parties(the ones that we knew wouldn't be near us!). The only one we packed up and left for was Camille. I was just a kid. I remember going to Waveland Mississippi to check on our summer house and finding a couple of walls left. I still have the image of "ALL" trees for miles laying down on the ground and lots of empty slabs.

Yeah, we just evacuated for Gustav, and it wasnt so bad to start with, where we are anyway. I even left my daily driver truck parked in the back yard... I had maybe 30 minutes worth of picking up a few branches and twigs that the wind blew off, but other than that, nothing...

That was the problem, when you go through so many storms with minimal or no damage you tend to become VERY COMPLACENT!
