I was an instuctor in a Viper at a March of Dimes event at Road America. This was the guys first time around the track and we were hitting 160mph by the end of the day. datatoys.com had a video system in the car and I grabbed it off youtube. Enjoy.

Hey, nice track vid, David. You can tell its his first time out at the track, but overall not a bad run... No sense in totally tearing up your baby, I guess!

What are the specs on the car? Looks to be an '06 exhaust, maybe headers from what I can tell...

When I jumped in, he said "I don't have too much done to it. Headers, intake, exhaust, ecu reflash. I am getting it supercharged over winter." So that is that. Sorry I don't know the year, but like I said, we were going faster as the day progressed.

I thought this would be nice for those who have not had the privilege to drive Road America because it is a nice track.

awesome video. I would love to road race my GTS some day. Looks like tons of fun.

I will have to make it to one of the Viper Days road course days next year. I suppose my car needs to be off the jackstands in order for that to happen.:lol:

I raced there a lot in 2003 and very little since unfortunately. I have instructed up there a couple of times and it is a little frightening sometimes going into turn 1 when the student doesn't want to hit the brakes when you tell them. :scared:
