Talking with Marv on the phone today putting the final touches on his ZR1 he told me about this beast he has. Talk about a once and a life time deal!!

Not sure if this is a re-post but if it is it's worth seeing again!! :yep:

It's been posted a time or two but I didn't know who actually owned it. It's certainly unique, I'll give it that.

The hood ruins it for me, not to mention the mismatched coloring due to carbon fiber overkill. It needs one of these for an intake.

Individual throttle bodies are badass. Only way to go for all out n/a power.

Who's intake set-up is that?

Look's like Scott P's old intake.

It'd look very cool if the entire car was painted one color and not look like a patchwork quilt

The ITB idea is brilliant except for the fact there's no room for filters. Without filters the car has very limited use. Some engine builders say engine life on no filters is under 20,000, but I guess there are variables based on how much dirt/dust etc the car goes through.

NOTHING beats ITB for throttle response however - it'd be an animal with a non progressive throttle linkage.

Its OK, but I definitely DO NOT think that its worth the asking price. 295k? Yea, I dont think so. And I'd really like to see how they came up with the price of almost 800k in what they say it cost them to make the damn thing. Still, with all of that said, its a cool Viper, just not THAT special IMO.

What about those little filter ball thingers? I'd imagine they could work alright.

Just put socks over them, that should do it.

Agreed. While it's technically a "one-off" it isn't really all that special...now had it been a one off factory street legalish comp coupe with a crazy motor...then that would be something

Agreed, that's one "paint job" that has never grown on me in the least. Most obscure looking body work I've ever seen on a car next to a junk yard special.

And Jason... OUCH on that 90 degree bend Paxton set up, that poor motor must work extra hard to get the air that it deserves after working off the belt for it.
