1. The Dodge Viper has had the worst sales of an American car in 2008, with only 959 units sold, but that's not such bad news. Sales for the sporty Viper are actually up 149 percent from 2007 according to Cars.com

Puts it in perspective when you consider how many Corvettes are sold in a single year... :yep:
1 of 900 or 1 of 30,000 with cupholders? :lol:

It's all relative. They are comparing the numbers of a limited production car to all the mass produced cars. Even if they sold every single Viper made in 08, it will still be the lowest. Gotta love the way the media puts their spin on it.

Meh, they might "hold" some more value, unfortunately they are not immune to the current conditions that the entire car market is in. Still, the media will always make topics like this one sound worse than if they would really post production numbers, etc.

I'm thinking 1 unit sold in 2008 should be a victory over 2007 since no 2007 Vipers were produced:shrug:
