We have finally got moved out of the garage, and into a shop! I'm really excited about this move, and looking forward to working with you guys in our new location. Thanks to Chad over at Victory Motorsports for leasing us an awesome spot ;)

The new address is:

6522 Midway Road
Haltom City, TX 76117

I know it's going to be a little out of the way for some, but this location will put us a little closer to others. I tried to get somewhere in the middle of Dallas and Ft. Worth, while still trying to make it convenient for everyone.

We are still going to be a mobile based business, but the garage at the house was getting smaller and smaller everyday. Something had to change.

Here are some pictures of the shop. Please excuse the bare walls :( I'll be working on personalizing it a little more in the near future. And we will be putting a sign up in the next couple of days.

In this picture, we are located inside the first bay door.

A LOT more room than what we had in the garage :D

For some reason those shelves look a lot smaller here  We actually have an office now :D It's located behind the window to the left in this picture. Walls will be painted, and floors will be coated with an epoxy coating. I know it's not the prettiest, but having the extra room is a HUGE bonus for us! Not to mention a little more of a professional image being in an actual shop instead of working out of the house.

Here are a couple of maps to show the location...

Thanks Jerry! I'm extremely excited about this move. We've needed it for a long time and this opportunity just fell in my lap, I am very grateful for it!

I'll get some new pictures once everything is painted and cleaned up, and all of the supplies organized. I hope the final product looks half as good as the picture I have in my head

It's good to see a small business flourish in this environment of social welfare. Nice set up.

I am sure you will have it the way you want it soon enough..

We will have to add your shop into the next GTG as a place to stop by.

I will just warn you that No Man may try and throw cat litter at your front door...
it may be some type of peace offering so don't worry too much..

That would be awesome if you guys stopped by! I'm hoping to have it up and running, with everything painted and cleaned within a week.

Should I put out a No Man ban?

No Ban just yet...

Try and keep some power bars around the shop so when he does
stop by you can keep the animal subdued ...

We've been very fortunate with this economy. I wouldn't exactly say that we've flourished, but we're doing okay. We've worked very hard to provide the best service at reasonable prices, and we've had very few complaints. I take a lot of pride in my work, and I try to instill that pride on my employee(Brent). He's come a long way over the years, and is the best worker I've ever had. This isn't a career type job for him, so I will be very sad when he does decide to leave

Nick,

Here is a link to the coating I have in my garage..

the PSX700

Its a bit on the pricey side but I coated my floor when the house was built 7
years ago and this stuff still looks like new... only drawback is when it
gets wet it can get a bit slippery.. but oil and any other fluids that spill
wipe right up..

Thanks for the link. Looks like a very nice product. My only concern is price. That is a large investment, and this isn't my final location. I'd hate to spend the cash to have a floor like that, then move in a year. My plan is to get a stable final location in the Southlake/Grapevine/Westlake area.

This coating is certainly expensive...

Good thing is it appears as if the floor there is in really good shape
so most off the shelf coatings should perform quite well.

.......hopefully it will come out nice. Pricing the "off the shelf" type products is still a pretty decent investment, but it's within the budget

Have you looked into U-coat It? Just had it installed while I was away....floor prep is extremely important for any epoxy floor coating.

Good Luck Nick!!! Your work is very good...just keep it up and ride out the rough time and you'll be making so much money...you'll need 4 lifts to park all your rides.
