Jason, I feel for you trying to sell that bomb. Good luck but every time I see the ZR1, it makes me laugh how clueless GM has become. For the money, that car should looke like a C6R, wing and all, rather than a base model Hertz rent-a-vette. The ice cream freezer-looking window in the hood is utterly ridiculous.

There is a strong market for the car, and I'm sure he'll sell it. But I have to agree with your comments. And not just because I'm a biased viper owner. Personally, I think the C6 Z06 is one heck of a car for the money. And I've owned a bunch of vettes (including C4 - ZR1's, which WERE awesome cars in their day). But everytime I see a new ZR1, I laugh. From the cheap ass chrome plated wheels (that will be peeling and pitting months from now), to the BAD plexi, hood-window. It just does NOT look exotic. It looks like a Pep Boys, rigged up Corvette.

I mean, $120k will buy you a decent 05'-06' F430 Coupe. And $140's will buy you an 03-04 Murci!!!!!! And G-cars are UNDER $100k now!!!!!! Who in the world would pay this kind of loot for this car???? Im sure many people would.. not me.


The Corvette has always been attractive because of the price. But at $120k, this car does not work..

I too think they(GM) do overprice the ZR-1s, but somebody will buy it for sure. I have never been a fan of yellow myself.
