Do all vipers sound like they have an exhaust leak?

Every time I start my 06 coupe it sounds like a leaky exhaust or loud lifters. After searching this forum and watched videos on Youtube.com (not a good source) I read some people who wrote about it. But I'm not sure. It's completely stock. I will post up a sound clip soon. Can anyone post their stock exhaust sound

Welcome to the board... mine has a leak too. it comes from under the doors. there is a little round hole on both sides. it is like hot smelly air comes out of it all the time!

Honestly, mine doesnt have a leak but my lifters are loud. A frind of mine says it sounds like an import because of the clattering.

Are you sure it's not air being sucked into the airbox? Do you have K&N filter?

Postive, it's completely stock with 16k, it sounds like lifters or a leaky exhaust..

On a cold day (if possible) start your car and look for the exhaust smoke. If you see it where it shouldnt be coming from then you know the problem. Its like that smoke machine test they use to check if theres leakes in other systems of the car.
