View Full Version : What can we do? (UPDATED w/ Contest)

Ok, so without copying things that have been done by VCA, VA and other Viper Forums, what kind of Viper-related content could we add as a section or knowledge base for others (especially those newer to owning/driving a Viper AND yes I still consider myself in this classification)?
Is this something we would want to do?
Thoughts?

These sorts of things will come on a "per asked" basis, just as other sites knowledge bases have developed.
Viper knowledge is Viper knowledge no matter where it came from, and over time it will start to compile here. We understand the concern for content being needed in certain sections, but the problem is that so far we are really just a bunch of know it alls... :lol:
As far as adding an FAQ for the different Generation sections, if someone wants to come up with some detailed ones that we can make "stickies" that would be great. This would be something similar to what SupraForums and some other sites use.
A good, fully detailed FAQ post will be worth $10k VF cash (per Generation Section) if there is anyone that wants to take a stab...

good idea. It is only a matter of time before we start needing a performance modification section.
For starters it could be a single sub-forum covering all modifications for a Viper. As it becomes too big it could later be split between naturally aspirated and power adders, and maybe even split between driveline and body/suspension mods.
:shrug:
As these sections develop, tuners / Viper customizers will be more inclined to come over here and contribute their knowledge :yep:

We could get one started right now..
"How to blow your engine to pieces"
"How to set 9 second world records in your viper on street tires"
That might get Hollydouche contributing more to the site..
:haha::haha:

I like this idea of sub-forum splits between NA and Power Adders. I dont want to eventually have too many sub forums, but for starters this one is a great idea.

Still no takers for this? Maybe if its $15,000 VFbucks that will change some minds. Other smaller tech writeups may be worth something also. :yep:

Maybe I will do a write up on the Roe install as well. I have a bad habit of just working and not stopping to take pictures. Maybe I can put the wife to work with camera duties.
