I stopped by the Dodge dealer today and they had a 2008 Challenger SRT8 on the floor with a $20,000 limited availability charge on the dealer sticker. The four Challenger SE's with 6 cylinders that had only had $3,000 limited availability charge added. You gotta be kidding! Are they really getting anywhere close to this on these cars?
They also had a 2000 RT/10 with 60 miles for $72,000 because it was silver with a rare cognac interior.
Good luck to them on that one!

As stupid as it is, you know someone out there will end up with it. (the challenger I mean). Either a wife, or some dumb kid. The option of a V6 was a demise to that car. The Viper on the other hand wont sell due to no cupholder...

Even the V6 version? Do any dealers have SRT-8s sitting or are they all pretty much accounted for, made to order?

I just ordered an 09 6speed, 6.1L and paid $1,000 over invoice. Anyone who pays a "$20,000 limited availability charge" is craaaazy

Good choice on the '09 6spd. Friend of mine paid $10K over sticker and I got to drive the car. I wasn't too impressed. I did like the grill and headlights. The "ram air" setup is a joke if you lok at it closely. It'll definately be more fun to drive with a manual tranny.

In a couple months they will feature huge discounts.
The Camaro is going to kill this car and its 15 year old chassis.

I remember when I first saw this car on the internet, I thought I remember the orange car having a carbon fiber hood stripe. I then saw one at the dealer and it was a cheap vinyl sticker. I would be embarrassed to have that on my car.

Craig, sounds to me like you're a real Camaro/IROC (ITALIAN RETARD OUT CRUISING) fan.
