I was wondering if any tuners currently use or have used an Air to Air IC instead of the Air to Water setup that is currently included with the kit. I know all of the vette tuners stray away from the Air to Water setup and the viper has an even better front end for airflow over the IC core than the vette. So whats the deal. The plumbing can't be all that bad, that's where the IC sits for TT cars? Just wondering since I am not a huge fan of the Air to Water setups.

Air to water is the only way to go IMO. Air to water cooling has a much more effective heat exchange, and you can always pack it with ice at the strip... :D
Theres nothing wrong with air-air. I guess it all depends on what you are going to be doing with the car to justify which to go with. Stop and go/slow driving or strip use I would stick with the air to water. If youre never going to do anything but highway driving and maybe a few roll on races then air to air is good enough and requires less maintenance.
You can always go with an air to air and then do a water/meth kit. Or you can always spray a little NO2 now and then.

I think unless you are packing it with ice at the track the air to air is still better. Not to mention if you were doing any type of road racing the A 2 A would be a bette choice. I just wondered why no one had done it. I know the vette guys are making huge power with the air to air with little ole LSX motors. So I was just wondering. Now if you want to give up the hatch area and get a larger coolant tank you could do some serious work with an air to water setup. And use some aviation grade heat exchangers up front.:D

To the best of my memory, we have only done one installation of an air to air intercooler on a Paxton equipped vehicle. It's been our experience that the best thing you can do for air temperature reduction on a bolt on Paxton kit, is to get the air intake for the blower out of the direct path of the air coming off of the radiator fan. Initially we tried doing a closed air box setup for the Paxton kit, but decided to use a fabricated tube and air filter setup that moves the air intake for the blower out of the engine compartment.
