Just curious what the most popular pulley is for the Roe guys. Especially for daily driven cars.

It really depends on what other mods you are going to do.

A 5# pulley will make about 575 rwhp with a stock motor. You can go to an 8 # pulley on stock motor (with a boost a pump) and make over 600 rwhp but you will max the stock fuel pump out in the upper rpms (still safe though).

With a 10# pulley you need water/meth and an upgraded fuel pump. I am running 10#, w/m Walbro 255 pump, boost a pump, roller rockers and headers and put down 660 rwhp/710 pound feet on a 100 degree day.

A 12# pulley just generates too much heat to be effective at all. Not even worth doing IMHO.

To answer your question the 5# is probably more popular but the 8# is plenty safe for a DD.

I ran a 5 lb on my car when it was stock. I also had a 96 car "forged" that I ran a 10 lb on. I liked the 10 lb set up. The car ran great or so I thought until I had the paxton and now the turbos.

My car made 686 whp with the same mods with the 10 lb pully. That's a really nice setup. Lots of fun for the street.

Honestly... Pulleys = Pussies.

Sell that heap and get a basic TT kit. Even the lamest T3 tt kit will donkey punch a tapped out Roe kit.

Are you in CA and forced to go the smog b/s?
