Actually I would have found the whole situation pretty comical and fired jokes right back, even might have had flashbacks of the barber shop scenes in the movie Coming to America with Eddie Murphy.

But then again, I don't get offended at all, nor do I have kids, and I was one of 14 white kids in my high school in SoCal, so jokes were always flying about white people. Maybe that's where I got the tough skin. I do standup comedy on occasion and don't leave a stone unturned - everyone and everything is fair game in my book.

Unfortunately a lot of comedy clubs have banned offensive material that may be perceived as racist, sexist, religion, age, disabilities, appearance (fat or skinny), homosexual or lesbian, and political.... The owners wonder why attendance is way down after implementing tough policies, but they are too worried about lawsuits to have any fun.
